A Look With the MAC Enchanted Eve Eye and Face Palette/Cool: Cool-Toned Gray and Blue Eyes, Rosy Cheeks and Plum Lips - Makeup and Beauty Blog
My pare may have a sunny disposition — i.e., I'one thousand warm toned — but sometimes I like playing it absurd with cool-toned grays, browns and blues like the ones I'chiliad wearing here.
I'm wearing the new MAC Enchanted Eve Eye and Face up Palette/Cool ($49.50), one of the ii eye and face palettes in the MAC holiday 2022 collection.
Despite seeming like a strange combo, cool tones don't have to clash with warm-toned skin. Sometimes I think they look really absurd! 🙂
This look didn't have long, either. I used my trusty iPhone timer flim-flam. I set up it for 25 minutes, and and then I committed to mostly sticking to the colors in the palette, considering it has eyeshadows, a chroma, two lipsticks and a highlighter, and so nearly of what I needed was right in that location (yay for convenience!).
All I had to add was foundation, powder, concealer, mascara, a blue liner (MAC Metalhead, BTW) and a neutral matte dark-brown transition shade (I went with MAC Cork), which I used to soften the transition betwixt the absurd gray matte on my brow bone and the frosty chocolate-brown gray on my lids.
I'm likewise glad I tried using Passing Fancy, the soft pearlescent orangey coral Cream Color Base (a foam highlighter) that comes with the palette, every bit an eyeshadow base. I think it really enriched the frosty brown grey eyeshadow.
Try information technology sometime, because those Cream Colour Bases are surprisingly versatile. They're aren't just good face highlighters.
I also tried mixing the two lipsticks together — flossy, plummy satin Rebel and mid-toned nude mauve Feed the Sense — and ended upwards actually liking how it turned out. 🙂
Lastly, if you're because this palette (FYI, information technology shows up October 22 at MAC counters, stores and online), do yourself a favor and save the included brush for dire emergencies only, considering it'due south scratchier than a tiger's tongue!
